Tyler is a whole foot+ taller than Rachelle, but she never lets that get in the way!

So I think my new obsession is St Patrick's Park. The long winding trails and different location possibilities make me giddy as a photographer, especially when we only have a half hour mini session and need different backgrounds all together. When Marena said she would like a woodsy location, I was very happy to go back to this beautiful park.
Marena was such a good sport through crazy winds that threatened to pick us up. And when I asked her to climb trees and lay down in grass in a pretty dress, she happily obliged. And the moment she got excited to climb a tree was when I knew we had chosen the right location for this talented girl!
Not many session do we get serenaded!
When she becomes famous, I hope she remembers me for her album cover!
The leaves may not have bloomed yet, but we found some green in the late spring weather!
Seriously Beautiful Girl.
I love personalization when it comes to a Senior Session, and Zechariah made this session all his own!
He brought many items that he felt represented his passions in life, from his books to video game controllers.
I have never used a prop to wrap around a senior before, but very fun!
And don't worry, the wire behind was not live.... I hope!
Zechariah went to two Christian Schools during his High School career,
and we incorporated both those locations onto the session.
Zechariah also plays the harmonica, very well I may add.
While it was still a bit breezy in early march, but this Spring photo session still gave us some beautiful scenery to work with. Sam and Marijke came down from Michigan to meet me halfway at St Patrick's Park in South Bend.
Marijke's bright personality matched her great coral shirt choice,
which goes perfectly with Sam's laid back attitude and serene grey woods.
The theme of the reception was FUN!
After taking a few more pictures on the great stairwell of this neat location,
the party was on and everyone had a great night!
The newly formed family started off the night with a dance.
The theme of the night was fun, and what is more fun than a candy bar!
The ring bearer really liked the candy bar!
The Scottish Rite is a place full of mystery and old world beauty.
Sarah and Thomas March ceremony and reception were held in this cool location.
Loved this moment of the groom's daughter watch the beautiful woman who as about to marry her dad. This day was a beautiful celebration of this newly forming family's love for another, especially for this sweet little girl.
The back of her dress was her favorite....mine too!
It was blustery March day, but thankfully we got a few shots on the steps of this unique and beautiful location.
I was thankful the coordinator allowed us a little freedom to explore and really use the space for great pictures!
Amish Acres is a beautiful place to get married, and thankfully we found a few picture spots that were not covered with two feet of snow! It was a sunny and in the 40's, which was a refreshing warmth after the below temps we have had.
