Joyner Boys 2012

As a photographer, I never get pictures of my family with ME in them. At my in-laws I set a tripod to get all four of us in a shot, then took a few moments to photograph my two favorite little boys in the whole world, a.k.a my kids:)

This handsome  and goofy boy is one of the reasons I wanted to
become a family photographer in the first place!

This is the other reason I became a photographer...his twin brother!
I am so thankful to preserve this smile in quality photography!

I framed this and set up a tripod to have my mother in law take this picture for me on their beautiful farm. I am thankful for her for because as a  photographer it is very hard to get all four of us in the picture!

Now this is much more our natural state!

Jesse and Jessica~November 10, 2012

Jesse and Jessica had a very fun November wedding! We were blessed with 60 degree weather on a November Saturday for a gorgeous couple! It was a day of love, laughter, and a lot of dancing!
This dress must have been made for Jessica, because I can not imagine anyone looking as remotely good in it as she did!

I think think the drama of these tall columns at Sunnyside Presbyterian Church in South Bend paired perfectly with the beautiful drama of this dress.  Funny thing is Jess is the least drama bride I have ever worked with!  Easy going all day long!

Just as easy going and having fun was the groom and his groomsmen!  This was a very happy man who was excited to marry his gorgeous bride!

Hey Marena!!! I said earlier this was  a reception full of dancing and I wasn't kidding!  I love seeing a bride and groom really enjoying the party!

Dawn and Ryan~October 27,2012

What a beautiful autumn day for a wedding!  The forecast was for rain all day, and it not only passed before the wedding but left us with beautiful blue skies.

Pearls are always classic, and these lovely earring were Dawn's grandmothers!  I love details like that!

This beautiful bride had the help of her mother; who not only made this great dress, but also made the flower-girls' dresses, a red velvet cape for the bride, and the cake!

The wedding and reception were both in the wonderful town of Nappanee, Indiana.  Nappanee's town slogan is "Embrace the pace" because you will want to take the time slow down and enjoy all this great little town has to offer, from beautiful farm lands to the big red barn at Amish Acres.  Amish Acres for the reception on this cool Fall day was breathtaking perfect!

James and Jami E-Session

Beautiful Couple , that I was able to photograph for their engagement and wedding session. We started our day in the Japanese Garden.
These two just fit together like a puzzle!

The laughing during the engagement session carried right over to their wedding day!

Katie and Kyle

Katie and Kyle are so fun.  Kyle propose on the Riverwalk in Mishawka, so it was only natural that we did their engagement pictures in the same spot!

The exact spot where Kyle proposed, and the sun smiled on us:)

Jennifer and Sean

Fun , Funky, and Flexible is how I would describe this wedding.  The outdoor ceremony was sadly rained out, but that didn't dampen anyone's spirit.  With a flexible spirit we were able to find plenty y of spaces and times to get gorgeous pictures.
Even though were not able to have the ceremony in the Japanese Garden, we were able to sneak out for 15 minutes between before the reception and between the raindrops to get some pictures of them int he park they had planned their wedding.
The bride's newest nieces was born a mere THREE DAYS before the wedding!
The elegant , yet funky bride was a joy to work with!
Even the ceremony being moved couldn't take the joy away from the day!

James and Jami

Loved working with these two beautiful people who are very much in love.  I was blessed to photograph their engagement pictures, and then their wedding.   From the days I spent with them and their bridal party, I know they are looking forward to a very fun and happy life together!

This group of guys kept me laughing all day long!

And it wasn't just the boys were having a great time!

Megan~Senior Picture GO IRISH!

When I asked Megan why she wanted to do her pictures on Notre Dame campus she simply said, "I just love ND so much!"  With that love in mind we ventured over to her favorite college for her senior session.  Thankfully ND is in our backyard and full of amazing landscaping and architecture.

To start off our session we had to showcase this girls love of the Irish! And nothing says Irish better than the Golden Dome!

While at ND, we decided to head to the Mellisa Cook Softball Stadium.  We couldn't get inside, but we found plenty of places outside to capture this beautiful athlete in her natural element!

I think her blue eyes may have inspired me in this blue shirt!

Notre Dame has some of the most beautiful trees you will ever see, along with architecture that can take your breath away!  This beautiful girl looks great with such beautiful backgrounds!

This girl was so fun to spend two hours with as we wondered the campus.  This particular spot was the balcony on the back of the Golden Dome...behind a kind of door  I am not sure we were suppose to go through..sssshhhhhh;)

Casper Family

This was a great family to continue the family portrait season.  I met with this fun little family at the lake at Notre Dame on a gorgeous September evening.  The mom Kristen told me her only expectation was to get a picture where all four of them were looking at the camera, and I hope we did much more than that!

This little guys grin still makes me smile every time I see this picture!

Very proud of the flexibility of this family as we got lots of great pictures on this very active running trail!

This little guy was so sweet and curious.  I love being an outdoor photographer so we can give him the room to roam and capture moments like these.
Definition of Cuteness!

Sometimes the "outtakes" are my favorite pictures!

I love these Daddy and Son moments when they have no idea I have following them!
